Opening Reception of the 37th issue of Archipel magazine "Affoler la langue" (throw language into a panic)

LE CABANON, a contemporary art space at the  University of Lausanne, will be welcoming, on Thursday December 4th at 6pm (open from 5:30), the Opening Reception for the 37th issue of Archipel magazine.
Published jointly by Archipel and the Collection de l’Art Brut, the issue is entitled "Affoler la langue. Ecrits bruts, Antonin Artaud et Henri Michaux" (throw language into a panic. Art Brut writings, Antonin Artaud and Henri Michaux").

The publication, directed by Vincent Capt, assembles contributions by five students, five researchers and one writer. Complemented by thirty-two color plates from the Collection de l’Art Brut, the volume historicizes— through linguistic and poetic anthropology—the artistic and literary topos of madness.

With texts by Gérard Dessons, Sarah Lombardi, Vincent Capt, Denise Mammino, Thibault Vaillancourt, Jean-Michel Adam, Besiana Camaj, Jérome Roger, Alice Bottarelli, Elodie Sanchez and Andréas Becker.

A performance by John Dumani and a temporary bookshop in Le Cabanon.
Free cocktails.
