The search for funds to save Chomo's "Preludian" art village

A funding campaign is under way to pay for the restoration work on Chomo's "Village d'Art Préludien."  Restoring the creator Chomo's own hut is the first priority: it is the most damaged of all the buildings in the village; the others are in acceptable shape, and this after fifty years!).

In his time, Roger Chomeaux, aka "Chomo," was a multidisciplinary creator. Working outside any traditional art channels, he used for the most part a wide variety of salvaged materials he found in nearby landfill sites or in outlying wooded areas.
Most of his lifetime was spent living alone on a plot of land in the forest of Fontainebleau: his was an ascetic way of life, under the harshest  conditions and in a state of utter destitution.  And it was in this state that he built a world of his own: the Village of "Preludian" [i.e. a prelude to a new world] art.
