Beyond style and genre questions, the symposium “Outsider Art - History, Presence & Perspective“ aims at stimulating a scientific debate on the subject of Art Brut. National and international experts from di fferent disciplines will present new approaches to the work of artists and will illuminate the handling of Outsider Art in exhibitions, the art market and the promotion of artists in the historical and contemporary context. Terms and definitions will be critically reviewed and re-discussed.
